Milan Still Expect On Conte
With Vincenzo Montella under pressure, reports suggest AC Milan are interested in Chelsea’s caretaker Antonio Conte next season.
The Rossoneri have already lost in their last two Serie A games, and will face Inter at Derby della Madonnina after an international break.
Although there are reports that it will not win in the game later, the media explained that the coach will be in a situation of being fired if his team is still defeated.
A draw will likely be enough to extend his term, with matches against AEK Athens, Genoa and Chievo to follow before Juventus come on 28 October.
Nevertheless, it is expected that CEO Marco Fassone and sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli are drafting a plan in case they have to make changes in the near future.
Carlo Ancelotti is also a candidate, but the media believe Diavolo also oversees the Conte situation at Stamford Bridge.
The former Juventus coach said he would return to Italy in the future, and there was tension with English clubs over the summer.
Therefore Milan can begin to strengthen their interest in Conte, if Montella suffered defeat from Inter.
