5 MP camera phone - Where are you?

In November 2006 I wrote an article "Sony Ericsson and year 2007" In that article I talk about what new models we will see in 2007 and my one big guess was that Sony Ericsson will soon release it's first 5 mega pixel Cyber-Shot camera phone, but reality is that the best camera phone still got only 3,2 mega pixel Cyber-Shot camera. I was very disappointed when Sony Ericsson announced the K810i because basically it's only the K800i with a new design, nothing more. 5 MP camera phone - Where are you?

Sony Ericsson having troubles?

I really can't find any good reason for that why Sony Ericsson is falling behind. Maybe they got some problems with their new technology? Other, a little bit positive guess could be that Sony Ericsson is going to release someting amazing and it just takes a little bit longer - I hope this is the case. Still, Sony Ericsson is really falling behind when it comes to camera phones. Nokia announced the N95 5 MP camera phone months ago and Sony Ericsson is still waiting...

Well, we can't do much. We just have to wait. I hope that on March something will happend, otherwise things are getting harder for Sony Ericsson.
