How iPhone affects to Sony Ericsson?

Apple announced their first mobile phone at Macworld and they call it iPhone. In case you haven't heard anything about iPhone I will tell you some main things about iPhone. Basically it combines three products - a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls and a breaktrought internet communications device with desktop - class email, web browsing, maps and searching. What makes it so cool then? Sony Ericsson has touch screen phone with internet and music player, doesn't it? Yes it does, but what I have seen so far, it looks like iPhone just makes these all thing better way.

I'm a real Sony Ericsson fan but I'm also Apple fan I have to say that iPhone beats all Sony Ericsson phones. Of course iPhone won't be out until June 2007, so SE has some time to make their own "iPhone" and I really hope will do it. Sony Ericsson with multi-touch screen and great UI would be awesome!

iPhone has 3,5 inch multi-touch screen, which is much bigger than in any Sony Ericsson phone and the multi-touch thins is great. It allows you to flip throught photos and email them with a touch, or zoom in and out on a section of a web page. Doesn't it sound great? I think it does and I can't wait to see how Sony Ericsson will react.

Apple iPhone runs OS X and it has some apps that we have used in Mac OS X, such as Safari and Mail. I have to say that OS X on iPhone looks awesome. It has the Apple feel if you know what I mean, of course I haven't used it but I have watched the Macworld keynote and it seems to run perfectly. It seems to be very fast and beautiful. Before iPhone in my opinion SE had the most advanced UI, but now I think Apple is ahead.

iPod mode is also very interesting and it's very easy to use if you are familiar with iPod. You can easily sync your iTunes libary on your PC or Mac - including audiobooks, music, videos, TV shows and movies. Apple says that iPhone is the best iPod they have ever made and so far I have to agree. Album artwork and the whole iPod UI is so beautiful. Walkman player is ugly if you compare to iPhones player!

We have already seen some iPhone copies, such as the LG KE850 and I'm sure this is just the begining and more is goming...

Let see what is Sony Ericsson's answer! I can't wait!
