What happens to M600i?

In June Sony Ericsson announced that they won't be releasing any new firmwares for the M600i/P990i/W950i handsets. Users, of course didn't like the decision and soon Sony Ericsson change their mind and announced that they will develope one new firmware for the P990i and W950i. I just wonder where's the M600i? Why they dropped the M600i out? It's basically the same phones as the W950i, so I guess it shouldn't be big effort to relase one new firmware for M600i.

Actually, if we go few weeks back. We notice that Sony Ericsson release a new firmware for the P990i and W950i in mid June. Again I ask, where's the M600i? I guess they think M600i is stable enought, which isn't true. There are a large amount of small bugs, such as the browser crashes while viewing some pages and the alarm isn't working properly. The worst thing is that I have heard that P990i had the same alarm bug, but Sony Ericsson fixed it. Why can't they do that with M600i?

I have to admit that the M600i is now a quite stable device and much faster than few updates before. Why I want a new firmware is because there are still bugs and I'm sure they can fix them quite easily if they want. Why continue developing for P990i/W950i and drop out one phone, which is basically the same phone as the W950i?

Well, I guess the biggest problem at the moment is the lack of memory. Unfortunately we can do nothing about it.

However, I'm still going to keep my M600i and trying to get the most of it. I might update to the P1i, but not any time soon :)
