Information about upcoming models - Emilie and B123i

It's time to give you some new information about upcoming Sony Ericsson models. According to the Semcblog Sony Ericsson will announce B123i and Emilie. Both are codenames. The B123i is a clamshell and it will feature 240x320 resolution screen, A200 platform and NetFront 3.4 browser. The Emilie is a mid- or low-end phone and it will look very similar to the K530i. This phone will have 2 megapixel camera.

We don't have any information about when the announcement day will be. I wonder if Sony Ericsson will announce anything at the CTIA?

UPDATE: According to the recent info, the B123i is called the Z780.

Sony Ericsson sees moderating growth in the first quarter of 2008

Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications today announces that moderating sales growth of mobile phone units is expected to negatively impact net sales and net income before tax for the first quarter of 2008. Slowing market growth of mid-to-high end phones in markets where Sony Ericsson has a strong presence is affecting sales. In addition, certain component shortages for popular mid-priced phones have contributed to modest unit sales growth in the first quarter.

W760 and W980 official videos spotted at SE's site

Sony Ericsson is trying to keep these official videos hidden, but guys at Esato forums made some searching and found these cool videos:

T650i in red or is this a new T-series phone?

The picture above is quite interesting. It's from the official Sony Ericsson IDC-24 picture and we can clearly see that there's a phone that looks similiar to the T650i, but T650i doesn't exist in red, so Sony Ericsson might be relasing the T650i in red. In the other hand this might be a totally new model!

Another Sony Ericsson patent

Sony Ericsson has filed another patent, called "Portable electronic device with multiple input interfaces".

An electronic device has a main body, a flip attached to the main body and multiple input interfaces. A first input interface is disposed on the main body of the electronic device. Second and third input interfaces are disposed on apposing sides of the flip. The flip covers at least a part of the first input interface when the flip is in a closed position. The flip is rotatable so that either the second or third interface can be selectively used when the flip is in the closed position.

Sony Ericsson W380i gets a new color

Just a few days back we told you about the W580i in Jungle green and now it's time to tell you about the W380i in Black Orange. This new color is pretty much same as the Black Champagne, but the Walkman W is just orange. Look at the photo below:

Sony Ericsson W580i gets a new color - Jungle Green

Sony Ericsson did it again! Some time ago Sony Ericsson announced the W580i in pink and now they have added another new color for the W580i slider Walkman, called Jungle Green.

In my opinion this new color looks quite weird. I'm not sure if it's good or bad. I need to see this in live.
