CeBIT 2007 - Are you ready?

CeBIT

CeBIT is the world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments. This year the CeBIT event will be held in Hannover on 15-21 March 2007 and the key target groups are users from industry, the wholesale/retail sector, skilled trades, banks, the services sector, goverment agencies, science and all users passionate about technology.

Sony Ericsson will of course show their products on CeBIT event and I'm very excited to see what kind of new products we will see. Maybe it's right time and place for the 5 MP camera phone? Of course Sony Ericsson won't be the only mobile phone manufacturer in CeBIT and there will be a lot of discussion about UMTS, mobile TV, WLAN etc:

Pocket-sized office comfort - the smartphones of 2007 are the perfect business assistants. Presentations, high-definition videos and push e-mails appear on screen in a matter of seconds via the high-speed UMTS connection, while you can make extremely low-cost phone calls via WLAN or Voice over IP. According to a recent study, mobile Internet telephony will generate sales of around seven billion euros in Europe by 2012.

These multi-talented assistants are also set for a glittering career in mobile navigation systems - thanks to integrated GPS modules and special software clients featuring car and passenger modes.

The spotlight is on new multimedia applications in the leisure sector. CeBIT will lift the curtain on state-of-the-art cellphone TV technology and the latest developments in video recording and streaming media.
