I really don't know where people get these ideas... but this isn't the first time we see something like this, although for me this is the first Sony Ericsson cake. Before this, I have seen some Apple iPhone cakes. This K850i cake is made by Michelle Sugar Art and you can find this and more from his portfolio page.
Anyways, I think this looks delicious! I wonder if the taste is as good as the looks?

Sony Ericsson ranks well on the latest Greenpeace "Guide To Greener Electronic" list. Sony Ericsson along with Samsung scores 7.7 and gets a lof of credit for PVC free products. Sony Ericsson is also ahead of many companies in already setting timelines to eliminate substances that others have only identified for future action. The company is to eliminate phthalates, beryllium and some uses of antimony compounds by 1st January 2008.
Sony Ericsson's toughest competitor Nokia loses its top position, falling down to 9th position. This is due to the penalty point for corporate misbehaviour on its takeback and recycling practice.
Motorola's situation is even worst. The company is in free fall, down from 9th place to 14th position. This is due to the penalty point for corporate misbehaviour regarding its takeback and recycling practice. Testing of Motorola’s takeback programme by Greenpeace revealed that Motorola staff are poorly informed about this service in the Philippines, Thailand, and India.

Krusell´s top 10 for October shows Apple iphone further will strengthen its position on the market. In United Kingdom and Germany it is already official that iPhone will exclusively be launched with the operator O2, and T-mobile. With the debut in Europe we will most likely see a boost in sales just in time for Christmas. Thus we have made an extra effort to launch model specific cases within this segment, and we will see an exiting coming months of cases in line with Apples assortment from Krusell, says Ulf Sandberg, Managing Director at Krusell.

I just found this great concept handset and I want to show it here even that it's not releated on Sony Ericsson. T-phone is designed for older people, who are having hard time to learn how to use regular phone. "My grandmother can’t be bothered with typing in a 9 digit number to call me. In fact she usually asks someone else to dial the number if it’s not already on speed dial. Unfortunately even speed dial isn’t enough for grammy. She wants it easier."
T-Phone tries to make thigs a little bit easier with its RFID badge dialing system. "You get a bunch of RFID tagged badges to program someone’s number and even insert their picture. When grammy wants to call someone, all she has to do is place the badge on the call button and press it. The phone reads the RFID information in the badge and dials the number."
