Sony Ericsson had big problems with the P990i UIQ 3 device and many of the P990i owners were unhappy with their smartphones. Sony Ericsson released many updates for the P990i and the device came more stable but in the end Sony Ericsson had to admit that there’s nothing more they can do, the lack of memory was the biggest problem. It was time for the next generation smartphone. Sony Ericsson announced the P1i in May 2007 and the phone hit the stores in Q3/2007. The design is similar to M600i and you could even say that it’s the successor of the M600i. Sony Ericsson P1i has a new UIQ 3.1 operating system, which is a bit different than the 3.0 version. P1i also features QWERTY-keypad and a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus.

I received the MMR-70 from Sony Ericsson few weeks ago but I haven't had any time to write anything of it. So, what this MMR-70 is? It's an updated version of the MMR-60 FM Music Transmitter and with it you can play the music stored on your phone through your radio speakers. You can use it with any FM radio and it's quite easy way to get all your MP3 music into your radio. The best thing is probably that it's small and easy to take anywhere you go.

K850i Cyber-Shot camera phone is Sony Ericsson’s flagship camera device, it was announced about six months ago and it hit the stores in Q4/2007. The K850i was a long waited handset because other manufactures already had their 5 megapixel camera phones out. The K850i is the successor of the K800i and it features 5 megapixel Cyber-Shot camera with autofocus and Xenon flash. Even that the camera is the feature why most people will buy this phone, the K850i has a lot more to offer than just a 5 megapixel camera.

Sony Ericsson W880i was announced about a year ago and back then it was the first slim handset from Sony Ericsson. It's designed for people, who are looking for a good music phone with great build quality and slim design. Even thought the phone was announced about a year ago, it still offers a great packed of features. Sony Ericsson W880i has 3G-support, a 2 megapixel camera and second camera for video calls, Bluetooth and M2 card slot. The great thing also is that it's still the slimmest Sony Ericsson available!

Ever since the iPhone was released, I was looking forward to upgrading my phone as I wanted to have one perfect stylish and unique looking well built mobile phone for listening to music which has some cool features to occasionally browse web to check out sports scores and maybe a little browsing. iPhone had everything I looked for and it was so tempting to buy it because of ocean of accessories that can be found for it. But, I just couldn't accept the size of it. For me, it's too wide to be a comfortable phone PLUS I love to have keys to interact with the phone/Walkman. So, I was looking for candy-bar type slider phone as I didn't want to give up on screen size.
Before I bought W910i, I considered Nokia; N-95 and N81, Sony; W580i, and W500i, and few Samsungs, Windows Mobile Phones, etc. I saw almost most of the phones I considered except N81. I've been a long time Nokia user including their 770 Tablet. I wanted to stay away from Nokia for now as I had screen problems with couple of their devices. After owning W580i for one day, I decided to go with SE phone as I loved the interface in W580i. It only lacked exceptional build quality which I was trying to have. Especially, the slider mechanism had to be rigid unlike some Samsungs and even W580i that felt little loose(wobbling or rattling).

Slim and Sexy, that’s the new mantra Sony Ericsson people have deployed in this phone, apart from being slim, sexy, this is a total attention magnet, I am sure you will look at it constantly until you say “perhaps, its only a phone, not a human”, well I can bet on that.

Sony Ericsson recently launched the mind soothing Sony Ericsson S500i, I have to admit it is very sexy cell phone and must have for the teenagers who are running behind fashion. I received a green colored model for a sweet review. At the first sight it stole my heart (don’t tell my girlfriend, else she’ll leave me).

Sony Ericsson announced the new generation Symbian UIQ3 smartphone P1i in May and it should be out in Q3. Before you buy the phone, you probably want to read some reviews to find out if the phone is what you expect it to be. Many users were dissapointed with P990i, because the firmware wasn't ready. According to Mobilemagazine it looks like Sony Ericsson didn't do the same mistake with P1i.
