We have hear so many rumors about the P5i that I don't what to believe. Anyways, the photo above is claimed to be the P5i. The source also claims that the P5i will feature P1i-style QWERTY-keypad and it will have the new UIQ 3.3.

It's time to give you some new information about upcoming Sony Ericsson models. According to the Semcblog Sony Ericsson will announce B123i and Emilie. Both are codenames. The B123i is a clamshell and it will feature 240x320 resolution screen, A200 platform and NetFront 3.4 browser. The Emilie is a mid- or low-end phone and it will look very similar to the K530i. This phone will have 2 megapixel camera.
We don't have any information about when the announcement day will be. I wonder if Sony Ericsson will announce anything at the CTIA?
UPDATE: According to the recent info, the B123i is called the Z780.

The picture above is quite interesting. It's from the official Sony Ericsson IDC-24 picture and we can clearly see that there's a phone that looks similiar to the T650i, but T650i doesn't exist in red, so Sony Ericsson might be relasing the T650i in red. In the other hand this might be a totally new model!

Sony Ericsson has already filed a few touchscreen patents, such as "programmable touchscreen keypad patent" and "sliding touchscreen phone patent" Now they have filed another patent, called "Orientation based multiple mode mechanically vibrated touchscreen display"
In my opinion this patent might have something to do with the PSP phone and there's actually a mention about the PSP in the patent application:
FIG. 3 is set out to mimic the look and feel of the popular Sony.TM. Playstation Portable (PSP.TM.) gaming device. The area designated by reference number 300 is reserved for game action. It is essentially the display within the display. The dashed box referred to by reference number 305 represents the buttons that appear on the right hand side of the PSP.TM.. The dashed box referred to by reference number 310 represents the buttons that appear on the bottom of the PSP.TM.. Lastly, the dashed box referred to by reference number 315 represents the buttons that appear on the left hand side of the PSP.TM.. The buttons represented by reference numbers 305, 310, and 315 are graphical renditions on the mechanically vibrated touchscreen display 150 of the portable mobile communications device 100. The mechanically vibrated touchscreen display is configurable and re-configurable to suit the mode or application desired by the user. In this example, when the user presses an area of the mechanically vibrated touchscreen display that corresponds to one of the buttons that is associated with the PSP.TM. interface, a tactile sensation is returned to the user that indicates a button was pressed. The exact type of tactile sensation emitted by the mechanically vibrated touchscreen display and experienced by the user can vary according to parameters set out in the display configuration associated with that mode. Thus, some buttons may have different feels than other buttons.

XPERIA X1 made its first appearance at the Mobile World Congress 2008 and of course Sony Ericsson was at CeBIT to show off their new Windows Mobile handset. They didn't reveal anything interesting about the XPERIA X1 but PHONE Magazine posted some new and shiny photos of the Sony Ericsson X1. The panel interface of the XPERIA X1 showed something quite interesting. There was a big AT&T logo, like you can see from the photo above. What could it mean? It probably just means that the XPERIA X1 will come to AT&T or Sony Ericsson is just selling some "ad space" on their new handset.
Anyways, looks like Sony Ericsson still can't demo their Windows Mobile device more because it's running on a new Windows Mobile version.Via Engadget Mobile

Few days ago we found an interesting page from the official Sony Ericsson website, which showed us the release dates of all Sony Ericsson handsets, including the XPERIA X1. The page isn't available anymore, because it's behind a password protection now. Anyways, there has been a lot of discussion about the release date of XPERIA X1. PhoneMag reports at CeBIT that Sony Ericsson refused to comment the rumor. All they said was "it’s still developing." Doesn't sound very promising.
Although, According to the USEB Aldo Liguori, the Corporate Vice President confirmed that Sony Ericsson will be launching the XPERIA X1 in 2nd half of 2008.
This is getting interesting. I just have the feeling that Sony Ericsson isn't telling us everything. Of course they are saying "It will be out in 2nd half of 2008", it's the official information given to the media and they have to stick with it.
Well, all we can do is to wait and see what happens.

I just found this page from the official Sony Ericsson site. It doesn't give us much information but I think it confirms that Sony Ericsson will soon announce the T303 handset, which is rumored to be this compact slider.
According to the latest information, the T303 will be announced today! The T303 is rumored to feature a 1.3 megapixel camera, GPRS, 128x160 pixels screen and the new A200 platform.

Obviously, after the announcement of the XPERIA X1 Windows Mobile handset, we will see more phones based on the Windows Mobile operating system. It's just a matter of time. That's why I wanted to post this photo that I found from SE-NSE. The photo shows an unknown Sony Ericsson Walkman handset running on the Windows Mobile OS. In my opinion, the photo is probably just a fake, but I might be wrong. Anyways, It's interesting to see when Sony Ericsson is ready to announce more Windows Mobile devices.

The author semcblog found some very interesting information from the official Sony Ericsson website. The site actually shows when all the new handsets, such as the XPERIA X1 will be available. Nice to see how long this page will stay online. Anyways, According to the site the XPERIA X1 Window Mobile smartphone won't be available in 2008. It's delayed to 2009. That's a very sad thing if the release date of the XPERIA X1 is true. In that case, In my opinion Sony Ericsson announced the X1 way too early! Even that the XPERIA X1 has a lot to offer, in the end people will get tired of waiting and they will take a look at what other manufacturers got to offer.

Let's take a look at some other phones too. The new 5 megapixel Cyber-shot device C902 and the splash resistant Cyber-shot handset C702 should be available in May.

The author of se.blogvasion received a really interesting photo today. We don't know whether it's a fake or not but it definitely looks very interesting. From the picture you could assume that the device is running on Windows Mobile, just like the recently announced XPERIA X1. Based on the fact that Sony Ericsson isn't giving up of the Symbian UIQ 3, this might be a new XPERIA handset. Still, I find it rather odd if Sony Ericsson is planning to announce another XPERIA handset soon, because the X1 won't be available in months.
This might be the long rumored P5i. Maybe Sony Ericsson is going to use the Windows Mobile OS only with their high-end smartphones...
