New pics of the unknown slider!

Few days ago we posted some live pictures of a new unknown Sony Ericsson slider. Pictures were leaked by se4m and now they have posted more photos of this compact slider. Now we can clearly see that this compact slider has a 1.3 megapixel camera without flash. The screen size is probably 1.8" or 1.9" and according to the rumor this slider handset features the new A200 platform.

New Sony Ericsson slider leaked!

Here we have some very interesting live pics of new Sony Ericsson slider handsets. The following pics are from se4m and these guys also leaked the pic of this new clamshell. I wonder where they get these pictures? Anyways, like we can see that this slider handset appears to be a mid or a low-end device with quite compact size. It's a way smaller than the W910i and the keypad seems to be something like the Motorola RAZR has. This slider seems to have a camera too. Unfortunately these pictures are too blurry, so we can't tell how many megapixels it has. It also looks like this handsets has a brushed metal finish, which is a good thing of course. I love my W880i and its brushed metal finish.

Sony Ericsson to announce the SO906i for Japanese market?

According to the recent rumor, found from Esato forums, Sony Ericsson is expected to release a new high-end handset for Japanese market. The SO906i will have a big 3.1" (480x864 pixels) BRAVIA screen and 16.8 million colors. It will also feature a 5.1 megapixel camera with autofocus, MicroSDHC slot and One Seg Mobile TV.

Expected release day is tentative.

Sounds pretty nice! I wonder when we will see BRAVIA branded phones? I would love to have a handset with 3.1 inch screen. Well, I guess we just need to keep waiting.

Sony Ericsson to introduce 3.5G data cards in Taiwan?

According to Steve Yeh, president of Sony Ericsson Taiwan, Sony Ericsson is planning to announce three 3.5G data cards in Taiwan starting in the second quarter of this year. The lineup includes MD300, EC400 and EC400g cards. The MD300 supports USB interface, the EC400 supports ExpressCard and the last one, the EC400g supports GPS technology. Sony Ericsson is also talking with three to four telecom operator for joint promotion of the MD300.

Furthermore, Sony Ericsson is expected to launch up to 10 new handsets in Taiwan in the first half on 2008.

Interesting photo and some new codenames

Esato forum users are leaking some interesting information. First, take a look at that photo I have posted. I found it from Esato forums and the photo is from some Sony Ericsson press handout. You can see that there are a lot of new phones that were announced at Mobile World Congress 2008 but if take a closer look, you probably notice that there are some unknown handsets. For example look at the bottom row and the middle photo. It's definitely an unannounced handset!

New stylish clamshell leaked

Here we have an interesting photo! We can see a very interesting and stylish clamshell and there's a one very interesting detail. If I see right, there's a Sony Ericsson watermark which says "confidential" Although I'm not totally sure about it.

There are no info about the specs but this phone might have a GPS. Take a look at the bottom left. There's a text "Always know your location"

In my opinion this clamshell looks pretty nice. Let's see what happens!

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 indeed has a new version of WM

Few days ago we reported that the XPERIA X1 is rumored to come with WM 6.5 and that's why Sony Ericsson isn't allowed to demo their new smartphone more. Well, we weren't totally right with the version number. Like you can see from the image above (via mobilvilag) the XPERIA X1 indeed has a new and unreleased version of Windows Mobile. This new version is named 6.1 and it is expected to include some major interface changes.

Sony Ericsson G700 new color leaked?

SEMCBlog posted a picture of the new Symbian G700 smartphone with new color. According to the official announcement the G700 should only be available in Silk Bronze. Let's keep an eye on the official Sony Ericsson site to see if they add the new color!

Sony Ericsson G700 is Symbian UIQ 3 smartphone with large touchscreen and 3,2 megapixel camera.

Sony Ericsson G900 and C902 to be available this summer?

Sony Ericsson G900 5 megapixel Symbian smartphone and C902 5 megapixel Cyber-shot handset were announced at Mobile World Congress 2008. Sony Magazine - PSP-Style phone is in development

It's time to bring the PSP phone rumor in the public again. This time some Sony Magazine reader noticed something interesting. The magazine says "A new PSP-STYLE PHONE is apparently in development. There are even suggestion that it could be in the shops as early as February." Sounds pretty interesting but it's actually nothing new. We have heard this kind of rumors before and even Jim Ryan from Sony Computer sated that PSP phone is "definitely plausible"

Anyways, I was digging our archive and found other rumor that also claims that Sony Ericsson will announce gaming phone in February. Well, it's already 15th of February. Let's see what happens!
