Sony Ericsson patents sliding touchscreen phone

Looks like Sony Ericsson has a lot of plans for the future, which is a good thing of course. Just a while ago we found Sony Ericsson programmable touchscreen keypad patent and now Sony Ericsson patents sliding touchscreen phone. In my opinion this shows that Sony Ericsson is working really hard to bring out something that can really compete with Apple's iPhone.

I have to say that this idea looks really interesting. If I read the photos right, the phone has one screen, but you can use it two different ways. When the phone is closed you see the small screen and you are able to access some of its features...
