Sony Ericsson has recently patented a new "Two-way sliding mobile terminal", which makes possible to create a mobile phone with numeric keypad and QWERTY keyboard. This new patent isn't a totally unique idea because we have seen some similar ideas from Nokia and Samsung (Samsung F520), although it's nice to see that Sony Ericsson is also planning to announce a two-way sliding phone.
In my opinion this could be something that the P5i might be. This two-way sliding system would allow you to use the phone with three different ways and that would definitely bring a new user experience. Anyways, this could also mean that Sony Ericsson isn't going to rely only on touchscreen, which mean no iPhone alike device.
