Here have a very cool concept handset made by Esato user Muhummad-Oli. He/She has created W520i Walkman concept handset and unlike many other authors Muhummad-Oli has provided a lot of information about the concept handset. Sony Ericsson W520i is based on a new touch screen interface version of the A200 platform. W520i has 2 megapixel camera and Walkman 3.0 player. Sounds and looks like a great phone!
Touch Screen
The W520i has a new touch screen interface version of the A200 platform. This allows finger navigation through menus and for typing of messages or numbers. When you don't want to use the touch screen, the main functions can still be used with the hardware keys (typing on the keyboard is touch screen only). There is no need for a stylus.
CameraThe W520i has a 2 mega pixel camera with autofocus and photo fix, VGA video @ 30fps, video and image stabiliser and LED flash. The camera uses Sony's touch screen Cybershot interface.
MusicThe music software is the new Walkman® 3.0 Touch Screen version with A2DP Bluetooth support. SensMe and Shake control are included (accelerometer). TrackID™ is also included. A new MP3 ringtone creator application is on-board. This allows you to clip your music tracks to create a short ringtone. It has an FM Radio with RDS and on the back you will find the four stereo speakers for a more powerful sound.
The RestThe rest of the phone features the usual Sony Ericsson basic features of A200. It is a Quad Band phone with Edge. There is no 3G as it is aimed mostly at a Music audience (Like W800i/W810i) and because it is a low mid-range phone.
