Google Docs&Spreadsheets goes mobile

I have to admit that I have never used Google's Docs&Spreadsheets web-application. Anyways, Google recently announced a mobile version of its Docs&Spreadsheet service, which is availabe at http://docs.google.com/m and it can be used with mobile browsers.

The service is still quite unfinished, because only document viewing capability is available but to tell the truth, I'm not sure who really wants to edit their docs via mobile phone?

According to the Unwired View text document viewing works the best, with documents appearing just like they would look on your computer screen. Sounds a bit weird. We already have plenty of different softwares for text viewing...

I guess, I will wait for the second version to come out before testing out this service.
